LL Cool J's Son Arrested

 LL Cool J might lose his cool as his son, Najee Smith, 26, was arrested in the early morning hours on Sept. 29 after starting a brawl outside a nightclub in New York’s Meatpacking District. Sources disclosed Najee was allegedly acting belligerent and combative, prompting police to hold him in a cell overnight!

Najee was inside the Catch Rooftop restaurant at Ninth Avenue and West 13th Street when he got into a fist fight with a group of six or seven men around 3:15 a.m. 

Apparently at the time of the altercation, Najee refused to leave and began to argue with authorities, who believed he was intoxicated. “He was so drunk that they held him in the cell” and made him go through the system, police sources shared.

It wasn’t until the hip-hop icon’s son was thrown in a jail cell later that morning that the NYPD discovered who he was when they heard him talking about himself. To make matters worse, Najee would’ve only received a desk appearance ticket, had he not been so intoxicated at the time, the publication reports. In the end, Najee was charged with criminal trespassing and issued a court summons for disorderly conduct.

However, LL Cool J has yet to issue a statement about his son’s arrest, but the NCIS: Los Angelesactor has always been very supportive of his family, which includes his longtime wife, Simone Smith, Najee and his three daughters: Italia, 24, Samaria, 20, and Nina, 15. 

Hopefully Najee would learn from his mistakes and will be able to put this incident behind him and move on with the support of his family.
