The festival is about promoting Yoruba culture and other Nigerian cultures in Diaspora. However, the event is not all about promoting African culture only, but also involve activities like fashion show, cultural dance, ewi and bata dance, empowerment seminar and lecture, drum session, music, dinner and awards for people who have achieved in their various careers in life.
Other highlights for the event for guests are the display of other cultural heritages of Nigerians like Igbo, Hausa, Igala, Edo and other tribes.
Notable Nigerian entertainers like Adebayo Salami, Kemi Afolabi, Tayo Sobola, and many other stars will be in the US specially for the event all the way from Nigeria Africa.
Much awaited for the event is a car raffle in which the winner will head home with a brand new 2009 Toyota Corola car.
