Hayley Quinn, a dating expert from London, decided to see how men would react to the gesture of a woman approaching them for a date and most of them were clueless it was supposed to be romantic.
The 28-year-old took to the streets of East London, UK, giving out sunflowers to men she thought were attractive, and tried to start flirting with them.
However most men got flustered by the gesture and some even felt embarrassed they had nothing to give her in return.
Hayley said: "In my role as a dating expert I try to find new ways to help women approach each other.
"Women are so used to being the ones who are approached by men and I think a lot of the time we wait for them to talk to us.
"I felt quite empathetic about what men have to go through to ask a woman out so in a social experiment I decided to turn the tables and approach guys first and what a great reaction we got.
"It shows how men are used to taking the lead and got a bit flustered having a woman being so forward with them - I don't think they picked up that I was flirting until at least a few days after."
She also shared that you are more likely to be checked out if you look more interested, i.e if you're wearing bright clothes or carrying a sunflower round with you.
She told some of the men she approached she's doing what girls don't normally do by approaching men first and not waiting for them to come to her, which seemed to surprise them.
Hayley summed up the video by asking men how they would feel if they were approached by a woman - questioning whether they would be freaked out or think it was the coolest thing to ever happen to them.
