APC Slams Alao Akala For Using Buhari’s Photo On His Campaign Poster

APC has slammed former Oyo State Governor, Alao Akala and Labour Party Governorship candidate for using a photo of the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari alongside his own on his new posters that flooded Ibadan yesterday shortly after Buhari was declared the winner of the Presidential election. APC Oyo State however says the reason why the former Governor has a photo of Buhari on his campaign poster was because he wants people to sympathize with him and vote him in.

The Director of Publicity and Strategy of the Oyo State chapter of the APC, Olawale Sadare, however described the development as “another shameful act coming from enemies of the good people of the state”.

“Not a few people found it unbelievable to see the picture of the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Alao-Akala’s campaign posters,” Mr. Sadare said.

“Since Wednesday evening when those disgusting posters were sighted in parts of Ibadan, a good number of concerned citizens have been expressing their amazement at the development, Sadare said
