Orezi Shares On Women and Competition.

After lovely breakfast with the Delta State Governor Uduaghan, which was a wonderful experience, Orezi fed on Olori Wendy his experiences with women, his music and his secrets. 

  

You have captured Africa with your music, how did that happen suddenly?

Suddenly ke, that's not suddenly, I have been around for a while, we are still trying to capture, we are somewhere, but we still moving to a larger audience. I wouldn't say suddenly because it has been a long time, I have been around for over four years, pushing my music so for every effort I drop there is a wider acceptance, it has been cool.

With so many artistes dropping hits, how do you cope with the competition? 

The competition is so tight, the Nigerian music industry right now is so competitive like people release songs and videos everyday, how I cope is that I just try to make my sound different, like if you check the kind of songs I release, in as much as it is what Nigerians want, I just do mine in a different way, if you hear my Shoki, it is different from every other person's Shoki, also for You Got It, Rihanna and my other songs, I try to make a different sound every time and that gives me an edge.

What is up next musicwise and personally?

What is up next musicwise is my album, it is going to be out in few months, in May. It is supposed to be out this April but because of the election, I had to move it forward to May. 

Personally, I'm still single, I don't want to marry or have kids anytime soon, I just intend to make a lot of money. 

What are the things people don't know about you?

Do I want to say them !!!? I've got some bad habits, but let me tell you one of them, I bite my nails !! (laughs). I have been trying to get over that all my life but I have not been able to, and it is one of the things I will like to change about me. I just can't resist that terrible habit. Others, I think I will keep them secret, lol. 

Why do you prefer to shoot videos in South Africa?

I don't prefer to shoot in South Africa, I also shoot in Nigeria. Shoki and Booty Bounce was shot here in Nigeria but I just like the fact I'm abroad so when I'm abroad I just decide to shoot, not like I just go there to shoot. I feel they have a very conducive and happy to go environment, good infrastructures, sorry to Nigeria, but na so e bi. So we are still hoping Nigeria will get better so we stop flying to do things abroad.

How do handle females flocking around you?

I handle them with the way I can handle them. I just handle them very well (laughs). I love my female fans, I love women, I have two beautiful sisters and one beautiful mum, I don't know, some people get two mums but for me I got just one, so I understand what it takes to appreciate a woman so I handle my fans that way.

The ones that like my music and nothing to do with me, the one that says she likes me, if I like her too, we will like ourselves (laughs).
