Why Solange Hit Jay Z

Sources gathered that Beyounce's sister Solange hit Jay Z because he wanted to go Solo to Rihanna’s party. It was gathered that two of Solange’s “non-famous” friends tried to get into the party at The Standard’s Boom Boom Room for the MET Ball though not properly dressed for the party.

 They caused a scene downstairs dropping Jay Z’s name, pretending to be his guests and not Solange’s. However, Management told Beyoncé’s bodyguard and word got back to Jay Z, who was unhappy that Solange’s friends were using his name in vain.
Apparently, Jay Z snapped at Solange, who then got upset and said she wanted to leave the party.”
When leaving the party at The Standard, Jay Z said he’d be heading to nearby Up n Down, where Rihanna was holding her own post-gala soirée. Furthermore, Jay’s people called ahead and said he “didn’t need extra security” because Beyoncé wouldn’t be accompanying him.
Unfortunately, Solange who was tipsy and irritated” asked Jay Z “Why can’t you go home?” and to her sister, Beyounce “Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?”
Jay Z then replied: “You’re one to talk” which pissed Solange off.
As they got into the elevator, Solange attacked Jay Z, who ultimately did not attend Rihanna’s party.
However, there are other speculations that Solange was fighting for her sister because Jay Z was physically and emotionally abusing her, however, that claim hasn't been confirmed by any of the parties
