Though 25th of December widely celebrated as Christmas day has come and gone, the hullabaloo is still on today the 26th of December, known as the boxing day.
Christmas day which is the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ amongst Christians went without an hitch in Nigeria this year, though it was celebrated with mixed feelings last year due to the bomb blast in Saint Theresa Catholic Church, Suleja, by the popular terrorist group Boko Haram.
This year, it was ceremonious celebrated with knock-outs which sounded like gun-shots. Infact, at a time, I hid under the bed thinking armed robbers were on rampage around my house. Besides, the bomb shelling knock-outs, rice and chicken were shared amongst neighbours, lucky for bachelors who didn't know how to cook.
For some it was a time to party like never before and they sure let their hairs down and threw their hands up in jubilation to the birth of the Savior.
Even Muslims and pagans, had a fun-filled day just watching the smiles of many Christians.
However, the highlights of the day were the funny pictures and avatars shared on blackberry messengers. Here below, laugh out loud at the hilarious display pictures shared yesterday.

Also 26th of December, known as Boxing day dazed a lot of people this morning around 9.30am on Oko Awo Street in the popular Jankara area of Lagos, close to King Ado Secondary School, at Idumagbo, Lagos Island, when a multi-storey building packed with fire works exploded injuring unspecified number of people.

Shame the explosion affected several buildings and cars close by. It's been rumoured the blast was cause by a Fireworks storage facility in jankara market, idumota.
However, the Injured have been rushed to the hospital with severe burns, and firefighters and rescue agencies did their best in battling the inferno.
Despite the raging inferno, some people still manage to ravage on BBM, different interesting pictures to celebrate Boxing Day, which is a day set aside to open Christmas gifts/boxes.
