Twin Bomb Explosion Rocks Jos Again…Scores Feared Dead

Less than 30 minutes ago, information reaching us has it that there was an explosion at two different cities in Jos. The blasts occurred simultaneously. One of the explosions, according to a resident, happened at Angwan Rogo Junction, an area believed to be highly dominated by Islamic practitioners. A few minutes later, the other blast occurred at Yan Tire, a Muslim inhabited avenue.

No particular numbers of casualties have given so far but an eyewitness account says scores are feared dead with many people severely wounded. Now, it is obvious, the Boko Haram menace was not targeted at the former president’s regime alone as populBomb Exploxionarly believed but Nigeria as a whole. So, the fight against them should be a collective effort.

Meanwhile, Goodluck Jonathan has asked the entire world to support Nigeria in this trying time and fight against the dreaded terrorist group. According to the former president, their aim is to take over governance of the country; it’s obvious this is their aim.

“The death of any Nigerian at the hands of terrorists is a sad reminder that the war on terror is a task for all Nigerians not just the armed forces. I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray for peace in Nigeria and to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the government does its best to bring an end to these acts of terror and secure all Nigerians. May God bless Nigeria” GEJ said.
