Nollywood actress and film maker, Queen Blessing Ebigieson recently received an award of excellence from the International Coalition of Kingdom Ambassador in recognition to her great impact to the Nigeria Film Industry at an award ceremony in Lagos.
Her contribution to the Nigerian Film Industry over the years through acting and producing have been a major force in helping the industry grow and yielding her remarkable recognition as a positive influence.
Queen Blessing Ebigieson popularly known as Black Queen for her smooth dark skin, was also appreciated at the ceremony for giving back to humanity through her charity foundation, Queen Blessing Foundation.
Black Queen was congratulated courtesy ICKA, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, (President).
She likewise commended herself and shared on her Facebook that "at times like this I remember how I started. That little but brave girl in the city of Bida, Niger State at 16 years old already running her mother's restaurant, I mean Buka. I also sold pepper and tomatoes to pay my way through school, never giving up, always hopeful that tomorrow would be brighter, as I always believed that hard work pays. Here we are today, the rest is history."
Black Queen also said that she thanked God Almighty for all that she had achieved so far.
"I know that this is just the beginning because I know that My God is taking higher, greater and better. Thanks to everyone who has added to my life positively, most especially my one and only man who has always been a blessing to me in every way. And to the haters, keep up the good job, the more you hate me and what I stand for, the more I will strive to move ahead in life," she added.
Black Queen has won numerous awards in the past and this is her most recent award. Besides music and charity, she is a mother, globetrotter and business woman. She currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
