“We would want to know that the attribute of Yoruba people to be accommodating is not something that should be abused,” said the statement.
“For us, being accommodating is a virtue that was inculcated into us by our forefathers, and should therefore not be seen as a weakness by anybody.
“We would, however want to send a note of warning that the Federal Government should do all within its powers to ensure that Chief Olu Falae is returned to his family safe and sound,” the statement also said.
Meanwhile, in their quest to make the family part with the ransom as quick as possible, the abductors of the former minister of Finance have once again called his family to reduce their ransom from the initial N100m to N90m. Unfortunately, as at the time of filling this report, the family has only been able to raise N2m so far.
