Come February 16th 2013, movie and music stars, socialites and media heads will gather at XQL Lounge Jade Palace; Adeola Odeku Victoria Island in Lagos to celebrate with Rose Peter, the sweetheart of day time television in Nigerian Television Authority(NTA), as she marks the one year anniversary of her entertainment and variety show that airs every Friday at 1pm on Africa’s premier television.

Topping the list of celebrities to make the show is ageless politician and socialite Senator Florence Ita-Giwa. While the likes of Richard Mofe Damijo, Halima Abubaka, Ibinabo Fabrisima, Nse Ekpe-Etim, Carolin Danjuma, Uti, Elenu, Ramsey Noah, Desmond Elliot, Mary Oranta among others  will show the beauty and glamour of Nollywood on the red carpet.

Africa’s living legend 2face Idibia, delectable Tiwa Savage, Vector, Omawunmi, Goldie among others will turn on the swag of the music industry as the showbiz community gather to celebrate one of Nigeria’s finest showbiz reporter.

The show that has played host to an array of celebrities like, Rita Dominic, Eniola Badmus, Ramsey Noah, Goldie, Davido, Dj Sose to mention but a few, started as a result of the presenter’s disappointments at the quality of entertainment programs she saw on television. She shared that “at a point, I felt angered whenever I watched entertainment shows on television, why was I angry? I was angered at the shabby nature of these shows. It was so obvious that very little work went into these shows and it angered me. At a point I said to myself, why get angry when you can do a better show. One year down the line this is where we are” she stated.

Now that the show has gathered momentum after a year, what is Rose’s biggest achievement as the presenter and producer of the show? “The fact that viewers tune in every Friday and get a good show makes me so happy. There is still a lot of work to be done because it is not yet hurray for us. I feel very excited when a guest comes to the show and he or she goes ‘oh my Gosh!  You set me up, where did you get my childhood picture or my school days photograph? All these things are my biggest accomplishments. And I will not forget to add my heart desire, the show really needs sponsors so we can actualize this dream to the end.” she explained.

The ever hard working presenter has promised party lovers the time of their lives at the upcoming event.
