Davina was born in Kaduna into the family of Mr and Mrs Achema, a retired army officer.
Davina is the sixth of seven children, and she ventured into music professionally in 2005 when she performed alongside Jarule and Kevin Little.
     She released her first album titled Adura in 2008, and has played along several celebrities home and abroad. In 2010, Davina diverted into jewelry business launching her own jewelry line called "Davina Secret Nig". She has adorned the necks of socialites, celebrities and ordinary women in different works of life.

      She has also participated in different exhibitions and has a magazine dedicated to her jewelry business likewise featuring in different fashion magazines and has become an icon in the fashion industry.

Congratulations Davina, it's no news you'll be getting married soon, but we'd like you to share the news.

I met my heartthrob, Senior Assistant to Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State on Diaspora, Mr Eric Nwadinobi few years ago at a function, however the day he proposed to me, he flew into Lagos from Umuahia unannounced to perform the ‘romantic ritual’ which took place at the star-studded audience at the Entertainment Express newspapers’ one year bash, which took me by surprise.
    I had just finished performing my “Femi” love song when he stepped on the stage to perform the unexpected.
    He brought out a ring and said  “We’ve known each other for almost three years now and I love everything about you. Please, will you marry me?” I was tearful as I said ‘Yes’, quite overwhelmed by the proposal.
    Later I realised he had arranged with the Governor of the Niteshift Coliseum when he came to his office in Umuahia few weeks before then.

What are the details of your wedding you'd like to share?

Right now we are in "meeting d parent stage" which is planning on date and time to suite both sides of the family.



Heard there's a connection with the Coliseum in your relationship, can you share on that?
Yes believe it or not, my husband to be and I   met in Guvnor Calebs office at the coliseum, he proposed to me at the coliseum and we will be married there as well.

How do you intend to combine music and marriage, will anything change?

Nothing will change, i am just going to change methods of operation that's all, I guess I can learn one or two things from Omotola who is an entertainer and a married woman as well.


What are you up to music wise?

I am in the studio with Oritsefemi remixing Gbadurami and I will do some more productions this year by Gods grace


Will you still kept your afro blonde hair trademark after marriage?

Most definitely that's my trademark and I won't loose it


If you were given the opportunity to go back in time, what would you have loved to
change about your life?

I would make myself a stronger person because there are so many evil people in theworld, dream killers.


Secrets you'd like to share?

Davina is very funny and artistic, I can do a lot with my hands


What are your plans for valentine?

Well my valentine plan is to definitely spend some quality time with my man


Advise to single ladies in the entertainment industry?

Single ladies, however you lay your bed you will lay in it, if you plan well you will enjoy the dividends of hard work and passion.
