Iconic Christian musician, Sammie Okposo passes on.
Although the details of the unfortunate incident are still sketchy but it was gathered that the singer died Friday morning, October 25, 2022 after he slumped.
He was rushed to a hospital in Lekki however, he was confirmed dead upon arrival.
He, unfortunately, died hours before the event.
A few days before his shocking death, Okposo shared a message on his Instagram account where he talked about how he almost let go but God’s grace kept him.
He wrote: “I almost let go, you wouldn’t let me go. Devil thought he had me but God’s grace kept me. God’s grace kept me and will continue to keep me. What the enemy meant for evil, God blocked it.”
The Delta-born musician had a close encounter with death in May after the propeller shaft of his car pulled off while in motion.
Sammie Okposo and his wife Ozioma celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on July 1, 2022.
“Happy 12th wedding anniversary to us. July 1st 2010-2022. 12 years done. Forever to Go. Our Love is ForeverGod’s grace is working for us @ozyokposo,” he wrote on Instagram.
Sammie Okposo died at the age of 51.
