Dr Jimi Agbaje And Other Dignitaries Spend Valentine’s Day With Nollywood Actress Queen Blessing As She Celebrates Love Grandly

Valentine’s Day which is the 14th February is a world special day to show love and express selfless service to one another.

Infact it is a day to weigh one’s relationship, test an admirer or lover and almost a crime not to express love to one’s partner.
That day comes with so much drama, proposal, celebration or heartbreak depending on how it goes for different individuals.

However, for Nollywood actress and filmmaker,  Queen Blessing Egbigeson, February 14 is a day to express love to the less privileged widows and children, and for 2018 Valentine’s Day, she set it specially to mark the 10th anniversary of her Charity foundation and the 5th edition of Valentine special, as well as to celebrate the widows of our fallen Military  heroes, from the Navy, Air Force  and Army.

To show their appreciation, there was various display of arts and craft from the widows at the event. Queen Blessing Foundation is all about empowerment and for that reason she collaborated with Oluch to teach the women skills acquisition to enable them prepare for their future even after the event.

Notably, the event was graced by well meaning Nigerians who have contributed immensely to the growth of the  society and awards were also given out to them. Some Award recipients were  Brig General AE ATTU, Air Cdre Olumide Olatunji, Lt Col Fagbemi, Pastor Tony Rapu, Pastor Ituah Igohodalo, and  Dr Joe Okei Odumakin who was especially happy and spoke highly of Queen Blessing and encouraged other young women to emulate her and the government to support the military widows more.



The Chairman of the occasion, Mr Jimi Agbaje, a patron of the Queen Blessing Foundation was especially proud and could not hide his excitement during his opening speech. The widows from various units went home with gifts of wrappers, sewing machines, drugs and so many other items.



There was enough to eat and drink. In a closing remark, the brigadier general AE Attu congratulated Queen Blessing for the wonderful endeavors for their widows and gave her award as a show of gratitude.
