WHEN GOD SEEMS TO FOLD HIS ARMS - Sunday Message By Pastor Oyinloye Charles Kayode

Pastor Oyinloye Charles Kayode

WHEN GOD SEEMS TO FOLD HIS ARMS
. 1Chronicles 28:20-21.

God has already covenanted with us that He will never leave us nor forsake us but there are some situations many times that give us full impression that He has abandoned us.
Remember David said, "My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me". Jesus said the same thing on the Cross.
God is working, it doesn't matter if He appears to be silent.

1. If God is training you, building your spiritual muscles to be able to carry the weight of the glory that's to manifest. No responsible Father, it doesn't matter his wealth and love for his son would buy a new car and give the key to his 10 year old son as a gift to be immediately driven around by the same boy. When God was training David and Joseph, it was like God folded His arms and abandoned them.

2. Disobedience can make God to fold His arms. Joshua 6&7. He warned them not to touch the accursed things but Achan went ahead and carried some of them to hide, because of this the Children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, small stone blasted big Rock.

3. Insensitivity. Naboth should have gone for fast and prayer due to the antecedents of Ahab. Ahab had asked a favor from Naboth which he declined, Jezebel organised his elimination. 1Kings 21:1-15. Never joke with desperate people, even if they laughed with you, it may mean something else in their hearts.

4. Sin. 2Sam 21:1-10.There was a terrible famine in the Land for 3years, until the sin was taken away abundance didn't descend upon the Land.

5. Pride and Arrogance. God can send anybody to connect you and put you back on the track of destiny. Don't fight constructive criticism. Those who hate it are not ready to improve; they want to lord over every one. Constructive criticism is good for you, it's healthy for every organization because it will bring out the best in you, thereby helping you to excel in destiny.

6. Imitation. Be yourself. Trace the history of those who you imitate, check how their likes ended on earth. Most people who really want to be socialite don't get it right in marriage. Finally, let me add this as Number 7. Putting your trust in man will surely make God to fold His arms. Jeremiah 17:5-8. God is a very jealous God, His glory will He never share with any man. Lord reveal to me whatever in my life that will make you to fold your arms over my case. May God never fold His arms over your case in Jesus mighty Name.
