CAF ANNOUNCES IT WILL SUPPORT SHEIK SALMAN FOR FIFA PRESIDENCY

After about five hours of deliberation last week , the Executive Committee of Confederation of African Football has just risen with a unanimous decision to endorse president of Asian Football Confederation  Sheik Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa as their candidate at this month's FIFA Presidential Elections.
Jerome Champaigne, Tokyo Sexwale, and Gianni Infantino, the three other FIFA presidential candidates present in Kigali, venue of the CAF meeting, are said to be furious and will be booking the next flight out of Rwanda.

An official statement from CAF is expected in about an hour, according to CAF media director Junior Binyam.

Just few months ago, CAF and AFC signed a 4-year Memorandum of Understanding 'towards the development of football in the two confederations', so the decision is not surprising to some commentators here in Kigali.

So what's your take?
Has CAF made the right decision to support Sheik Salman for FIFA Presidency?
