When a feminine entity embodies the gait of royalty, the cognitive
prowess of an economist, an uncanny gift of sound and a smile that will
effortlessly disarm hades you know she should be taken seriously. Enter the world of Foluke a
graduate of economics from York university canada and a certified
Project management professional (PMP) who’s unflinching love for music
is beyond words. Born to Nigerian parents and raised in Toronto
canada, Foluke’s journey into the world of music stems from her
christian background and her early involvement with the church. From the
tender age of seven till date, her love for music has since witnessed a
transmission from singing in the choir to performing in the presence of
canadian prime minister Steven Harper, her evolution is one to be
envied. She was also inducted into the national wall of role models by
the Black Canadian Awards held on the 7th of june 2014 along with a
certificate of appreciation’ from a representative of the house of
commons for her outstanding contributions to community development.
She is currently on a tour in West Africa to promote her new single
‘Take my Hand’ a timely song inspired to heal the world and touch the
very essence of our existence. Foluke is an ex beauty queen and former
miss Canada Nigeria and a former brand ambassador for western union
Canada, she is also a poet, dancer and a strong advocate for those
living with sickle cell anemia and general sickle cell awareness.
