BigBen Burnelee started his music officially in 2015. However, he has been in the church choir from young age. His brand of music is Afro Pop (Patois Style).
Besides music, he is into hair styling focusing on ''Dreadlocking'' and has styled for many prominent Nigeria entertainers. Dreadlocking was a skill he acquired when he was very young and living in Abuja, Nigeria.
BigBen Burnelee is a born-again Christian, but his inspiration is not from the church.
"I get my inspiration most times in the studio, and most especially if the producer understands my style and type of beats, or when am high," he said.
His EP will be released next year as he has been working in the studio. Getting latest vibes to release to his fans is his music focus. The EP will be seven tracks with three bonus tracks and collaboration.
He has been opportuned to relate with notable entertainers like Burner Boy, Wizkid, Damian Marley, Skip Marley, and 2baba at the Fela shrine.
BigBen Burnelee shared his idea of the comparison and contrast between the music style in Jamaica and Nigeria.
"Nigeria uses Pidgen English while the Jamaica uses Patois Style," he said.
Due to his experiences, he advices emerging artists to remain focus, never stop believing in themselves and to never give up on their dreams.
He greatest wish is to be an international artist within the next three years.
