Nothing is hardly impossible when it comes to politics, as the quest for power is unquenchable, and those who thirst for it hardly give up no matter the circumstance.

The race to pick up the Delta State Governorship ticket under the current Nigerian National ruling political party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) may be between Comrade Sunny Ofehe and the notable son of Urhobo extraction called Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru.
Comrade Sunny Ofehe was just 18 year old, in April 1990, when Ogboru was indicted in the failed coup attempt of Gideon Orkar and fled Nigeria. He returned to Nigeria in June 2000 and joined the democratic process. He contested the governorship elections in Delta State in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015.
Currently, he is contesting for the fifth consecutive time and Comrade Sunny Ofehe, who had watched and followed his political prowess from the time he was 18 years old has risen to be his opponent for the Governorship bid.
At the Delta State APC Party Congress recently, Comrade Sunny Ofehe met Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru for the first time.
As their tradition demanded, Comrade Ofehe genuflected to greet him in their native language, saluting "migwo sir" to which Chief Ogboru replied "Sunny Ofehe, my young political opponent, let me stand up and greet you."
Apparently, It was then the laughter of the two political candidates was caught on camera.
However, If anyone had told Comrade Ofehe 28 years ago, when he first heard the name of Chief Great Ogboru that one day he will contest the number one seat of Delta State with him, he would surely have doubted it as he was a poor little teenager when Chief Ogboru first made his name in Nigeria.
Nevertheless, this is one of the beauties of Democracy !!!
