PMB & THE USA STATE VISIT; The Revelation Of The Nigerian President’s Cluelessness

If Buhari did not lobby the American president to buy our crude oil which is our major (95%) source of earning foreign exchange, why then did he go to America? did not persuade him on AGOA, did not ask that Nigerian citizens be treated fairly like others both at their border posts & inside, did not defend the Nigeria nation on the allegation by Mr. Trump that Nigeria has a bigger reputation for corruption, then, what was the agenda for this state visit?,  only thanked him like a boy-boy for his acceptance of a whooping  $496m in cash for the sell  of  12 tucano war jets that shall hitherto be delivered to the Nigeria nation in the year 2020.

PMB did not canvas his achievements on the fight against corruption & insecurity which he brandishes as a mantra, because, he's aware that the AMERICAN government, has their dossier on the massive corruption going on in his government & the failures of our military in countering the insurgency of the recalcitrant boko haram & Fulani herdsmen incursions.

He went to the US to defend the herdsmen again, that they don't bore arms & that the killers come from Libya & he's asking Nigerians to provide grazing lands for militants from Libya, what an irony? & Did not say when Leah, the only Christian girl among the Dapchi abductees, shall be released by the boko haram. Suffice to report my outrage on the shabby & nauseating  reception accorded PMB at the white house, it was remarkably poor & unbefitting of the Nigeria nation, it shows the level of disdain & disrespect of the Trump administration for our government & very poor diplomatic preparedness of our foreign ministry, who did not canvas for proper diplomatic protocol for our president, we might have our internal differences but PMB for now, is the effigy of the Nigerian nation & must be respected by other nations as demands by diplomatic protocol.

They drove him straight to the entrance of the white house like an undesirable element, no military razzmatazz & salutes as is the norm, watch the reception of the French & Germany presidents that preceded PMB.

The reception accorded the Nigerian president,  was an eye sore & a big diplomatic flop. Again, it was nauseating listening to the diction of our president, no finesse, no iota of brilliance  & logicality, very banal & bereft of leadership dynamism, too demeaning for a great nation like Nigeria with super sonic human resources in all endeavors, where did we go wrong?, who have we offended to be foisted by this type of focus less leadership. Who shall bail Nigeria?. The time to change the change is now!!!.
